We're on our way to Grandpa's house, and we're bringing...

...anaphylactics, bananas, cuddly little kittens...(nod to our last road trip with Auntie Pam and cous Hallie, see past post ;). Anyway we're moving to Grandpa's house soon, so mommy and daddy decided to burn some calories and trim the, slightly, overgrown front yard. Here are some 'before' and, well 'during,' shots (the 'after' shots are a long ways away...)

UPDATED: Check out the paint job! wahoo!

From the neighbors' house across the street. This is a first-time shot!!

Before: from the driveway looking into the front yard

During: almost the same shot...wow! you can see the house!!

After week two: yep, same house!

Before: view from the front porch

During: hey! we have neighbors! what the?! howdy!
(Jake was hangin' in our pack n' play at the bottom of the pic)

Wahoo! that's all I can say! Wahoo!
Same shot looking down the street the other way. No pre-shot as there was nothing but bush before! I mean nothing but bush!!

Can you visualize the tire swing?

Mom kicked the sidewalk's butt!
Before: Camellia gone wild!
Pretty much after: ahhh! hey there's a window!

We had a blast hangin' out with Gramma Peg! Thanks and we'll keep you updated on the progress! Love, Drew

The hike from, well, you know..and The Lost Pictures!

UPDATED: As of a week or so ago, I, Andrew, have taken up saying "mum" when I want my mommy. I thank Super Nanny for the inspiration of speaking my first work with an English accent. Jacob, on the other hand, seems content with rubbing his fist back and forth over his mouth to make funny 'Indian' Tribal noises (sic)...

Mommy and daddy were bored this weekend and had this crazy idea: let's go on a hike! ..but not just any hike, a 2.7 mile hike (each way) to a (disappointing) "waterfall" in 80 degree heat..oh, and they thought it would be a good idea to bring the stroller!?!

So this was before they busted out the stroller...they were smart for a minute..

Then they thought.."oh, this trail is easy"..let's just take the stroller..yeah..hiking is not meant for double strollers..see the hill we just went down? not as much fun going back up..

upon arrival at the "waterfall" ..yeah, not so much.

Here's what else we've been up to:

We watched the fireworks on the 4th with daddy, 'Uncle Matt,' 'Auntie Darby,' 'Grandma and Grandpa Arlene and George,' Matt's daughter Alexis, and Darby's family. (Mommy had a bad case of the flu and spent the whole day and night in bed :( )

The beach: with daddy, 'Uncle Matt,' 'Auntie Darby'..and some of their cousins from Oklahoma.

Not daddy persay.. but what he would look like if it was him...

Just chillin'

Daddy busted out the guitar for us to practice on...We ARE the future of Switchfoot..

Testin' out our piano skills Grandpa's old piano with 'Gramma Peg'

We took a trip to beautiful Balboa Park with 'Auntie Chrissie' and our future lead singer Matthew

Grandpa Bill made funny noises with his bottle... You're crazy Grandpa!

Just some other cute pics of us!

See ya later alligator!! Jakers and Drewski.

Happy Daddy Day!!!!

Our daddy is the bestest in the whole world!! That is why we spent our life savings on this air-art tribute to him...ok..maybe not but thank you Geico for allowing us this killer shot!!

Daddy made mommy slave away in the kitchen to make breakfast..just kidding, but she did make waffles and eggs and then we finished watching Into The Wild (snore!). Then daddy chose to spend his day at the Birch Aquarium ..so we cruised around and got some good ideas for daddy's fish tanks! These are some pics of our day ;)

And here's a video of daddy pretending he's a bull (we're sooo confused??!!) and making us giggle..careful female viewers, daddy is shirtless (ooh baby ;) ...

Happy Father's Day to the best daddy in the whole wide world. We love you!!! Jakers and Drewskie.

Welcome cousin Hannah!!!!!!

This post is dedicated to our new cousin Hannah, who decided to make her entrance into the world just after we left that far-away place we know as Sonora. Mommy and daddy lost their bets by like 12 hours and whole pound! geez cous!! Congrats also to our Unkie Will, who graduated high school!!!!! So..having said that..ever wanted to know what 4 days of vacation look like? NOT kidding..actually there are more in the car...

Mom makes most of our foody-food but on trips she simplifies the process. This is how much we eat. Not joking. It's amazing we don't weigh like 25 pounds..

So this was Uncle Will during the ceremony (3rd row back)..I dont think he could have looked any more excited.. Much happier..er goofier..after. And with his super cute girlfriend Casey
That's better...

Daddy and Drew enjoyed the morning mountain air on the porch swing..
awww...

Then we took a trip to the park...best EVER! ahh, mom and daddy remember playing with Uncle Will and Auntie Emily here when it first opened 6 years ago..memories.. ;)

big people swing!!

little people swing!!
crazy people swing!!
and..uh..cool people swing ;)

This pic is one of mommy's faves. Kodak moment!
Our harrowing adventure across the monkey bars...
..and we narrowly escaped Auntie Emmy on the tightrope of doom!!
just too darn photogenic..
First time on the slide!! wahoooo!!!!!!!

This one is CLASSIC..Hannah's great Abuelita (who is stinking sweet btw) knit this adorable bonnet for her new great granddaughter and let me try it on for size. I think it looks quite nice.
Was this me or brother? can't remember. Anyway "mommy I woke up and can't feel my hand!!" I wonder why.........??????
As always, we love our fans and encourage our readers to post as many comments as possible..so that we may feel as popular as a bounce house at a birthday party..hmmm..did that analogy work?
