This is a pic mom and dad's friend Andrea took of the apartment complex she works at. She lives at the same complex as us, which is about two miles south of where she works. This place was officially in the evacuation zone but was never close enough to the fires to be in real danger. Dad says our pool was just as bad, but we never saw it because mom packed us up (and put on the gas masks daddy gave us) and got our little butts out of there. We were fortunate enough to stay at our great Auntie and Uncle Pam and Steve's house (whom Drew shares the same birthday with) in their luxury suite. It's really their casita but it's like staying in a hotel, especially because it is in Newport Coast! Swanky! Anyway we're alright and all of mommy and daddy's friends and family are fine, as are their houses. Please pray for those affected though! J and D

"It's not that easy bein' green"
Well, we would have been officially due today if things would have gone completely according to plan. So I guess technically we're age zero today! I had mom take this picture of me because I looked so stinking adorable..she taught me a new dance move, so in this pic I'm showing off my sweet skills doing the Sprinkler (so retro). On another note, the rents are calling me "kermy" as in Kermit, because I look so much like a little frog, especially in this outfit daddy bought for me. He has such an eye for fashion. Froggy kisses, Jake

Busy weekend!!
We had an eventful weekend! Nana and us took a nap on our lazy Saturday afternoon (top), then Auntie Kym and uncle Guy (not pictured) dropped by Sunday with our cousins Brooke and Anthony (second from top), and to top it all off George and Arlene from the central coast of California stopped by Monday with their daughter Hana (not pictured). G and A are dad's best friend Matt's parents, whom daddy has known for like 15 years. ~Jake and Drew

Drew zombified for Halloween
Nana thought this was hilarious..I didn't appreciate being laughed at while I was in my milk coma, but oh well; I admit it's pretty funny. This was me, rigor mortis for like ten minutes during my nap. No one knows how many minutes exactly because I was doing it for so long they got bored and started doing other stuff. Daddy calls what I'm lying in my "cloud." Its just their comforter all bunched up. They thought it was so funny to fluff it up and drop me in..I need to call DCF on those meanies.. see ya, Drew

Welcome to our blog!!
Hey! Thanks for checking out our blog! With a little help from our mom we have created a spot for family and friends to share in our milestones, check out our commentary, and view our adorable pictures! We hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting and come back soon! Love, Jacob and Andrew
So this is us at four weeks old. We were a little hungry so mom didn't get the best shot. Drew (on your left) was still sleepy but I opened my eyes for ya so you could see that they're still blue. Our Dr.'s appointment was yesterday; they stripped us down to our diapers and weighed us. I'm six pounds and Drew is six pounds two ounces. I think he snuck in a couple extra feedings last week so he could continue being the bigger one. Whatever, I'll always be older..sucker!! All in all we've gained about a pound and a half in four weeks. Happy Halloween! Jake
