House Hunting!! ...(or haunting if we're referring to a specific house)

So we finally got to look at some houses the "normal" way...as in the lady with the secret codes drives around and shows us the insides of all the homes mommy and daddy peeked into the weekend before...They really narrowed their favorites down to one that refuses to take their loan and a short sale (though the house is really big so I don't know what the heck that means) which means mom and dad are thinking it's not God's timing just yet. Here are some of the pics:

The agent lady says this is a super great deal and cute house in a perfect neighborhood in downtown Yes-in-Deed-o?? (quiet, no traffic, plenty of nice houses for us to TP later) but mom and dad aren't sure if it's "the one"

The house right next door is for sale also! Okay...so look past the creepiness and peeling paint...It was built in 1918 and mom loves how it looks, but hates the smell from the 26 cats who were living there! ewww!

Dad really doesn't like this house but mama LOVES it! It's just a couple blocks away from the last houses, and also in a quiet neighborhood. It was built in 1914? and mom says is "soo cute," maybe she can convince dad...

This house is 2 down from the last "soo cute" house, but mom and dad really don't like it very much...

This 1909 Victorian is right next to the freeway in Oceanside...but oooh it's sooo awesome!! This is mom and dad's favorite, but the mean lender people just wont let us buy it! Poopers!

This cute cottage built in 1942 is in the Vista countryside..well it's more like the hills of Vista. Anyhoo it's suuuper adorable but mom says maybe it's not going to happen because it's a short sale (like I said before, doesn't it look tall to you?! dunno.)

Enough for now..we'll let you know if Ma and Pa find anything! Jakers and Drewski

Happy Anniversary Mommy and Daddy!

Two years ago today mum and dada were gettin' hitched! They have now been together almost seven years, and are the happiest they've ever been! Their wedding was beautiful; thank you again to our wonderful family and amazing friends who helped bring their dream wedding to life! Here are some of mom's favorites so you can reminice with them!

No peeking!

Pics were taken at the amazingly gorgeous Crystal Cove (look it up!), directly below the wedding location at Great Uncle Steve and Aunt Pammy's house.

They almost dropped daddy!

The beach house where the rehearsal dinner was held and mom and dad slept on their wedding night is just up those stairs. Steps to the beach, the sound of waves crashing all night, and built in the 1940's. Can't get any better than that.

'Auntie Johanna' is praying for/with mommy if you can't tell
ewww! gross!!!

See the ocean in the background? 180 view baby.

Off to sushi to celebrate! Love, Jake and Drew

River Rats! ...and River Cats!!

Mom says: "Aaaah...gotta love the annual river trip. Our wonderful aunt and uncle graciously open their hearts and house on the Colorado River to all of us each year. J has grown up looking forward to this exciting and fun trip, and now our boys will continue the tradition. Thank you again to our amazing family for providing this perfect getaway!"

Ok. finally my turn to talk. Geez mom. Anyway the river was sooo much fun! We were introduced to dragonflies, 111 degree heat, and a vicious doggy named Bitey, or was it Chompers? ;) It was a great first trip; we watched daddy try a 360 on the wakeboard, mommy and relatives get thrown through the air on the inner tube, and we floated down the river every day after lunch followed by a warm splash sesh in the baby pool. Here are some highlights:

I borrowed Unkie Brett's gel to add some suave debonair. I thought my mohawk would attract all the hot river babes but I never got to try it out because mom and dad said I was too young to date. Losers.
Our cousin Jesse from New York was visiting Aunt Kym and everyone in Temecula when he heard about our trip. Mom and dad liked having him around so much making quirky comments that they kidnapped him and brought him along! His 10 day trip to CA is now 3 weeks long!

Uncle Stevie's chair with daddy and us in it. Watch out daddy! I think Papa Bear is coming!
cutest. pic. EVER.

Awwww..cousin Hallie is sad because mommy (her favorite person ever) wasn't spending enough time with her. "Three lower lips"

Dude Hallie! what did u hijack the camera?! For freaks sake! Cute pic, though.

Hahaha! That's what u get!! Hallie demonstrating one of her many talents.

AHHH! Is that Chompers?! Oh, ahh ok it's only Paulie. Geez Paul way to scare us babies! Have you no shame?!

Jesse got up pretty quickly. This was him kickin' some bootie...

Gettin' some air!!

Woah!!! I'll let you figure out if he landed this one! He's got mad skills!

Here's a couple of daddy:

Oooh I hope I can grow up to be just like him!!

River collage Numero Uno!

River collage Numero Two!!

Mexican Jumping Beans

A glimpse at the craziness that was cliff jumping on our trip. It may look like nothing, but the taller cliff was at least 50 feet high!

We're on our way to Grandpa's house, and we're bringing...

...anaphylactics, bananas, cuddly little kittens...(nod to our last road trip with Auntie Pam and cous Hallie, see past post ;). Anyway we're moving to Grandpa's house soon, so mommy and daddy decided to burn some calories and trim the, slightly, overgrown front yard. Here are some 'before' and, well 'during,' shots (the 'after' shots are a long ways away...)

UPDATED: Check out the paint job! wahoo!

From the neighbors' house across the street. This is a first-time shot!!

Before: from the driveway looking into the front yard

During: almost the same shot...wow! you can see the house!!

After week two: yep, same house!

Before: view from the front porch

During: hey! we have neighbors! what the?! howdy!
(Jake was hangin' in our pack n' play at the bottom of the pic)

Wahoo! that's all I can say! Wahoo!
Same shot looking down the street the other way. No pre-shot as there was nothing but bush before! I mean nothing but bush!!

Can you visualize the tire swing?

Mom kicked the sidewalk's butt!
Before: Camellia gone wild!
Pretty much after: ahhh! hey there's a window!

We had a blast hangin' out with Gramma Peg! Thanks and we'll keep you updated on the progress! Love, Drew
