Happy Birthday Anthony!!

Hey again! We spent a lovely Saturday afternoon at our cousins' house in Temecula celebrating their birthdays. It was a super fun day and we did lots of cool stuff! Like...

Hung out with Nana and posed like the little hams we are...
..made Charlie their dog balance a fish stick on his nose...
..told uncle Guy the only way he could catch those darn flies was if he sprayed whipped cream in his mouth...

..took a pic with Nana and made her giggle...
..mom and me snuck up on daddy and Andrew...

..uncle Guy gave me a ride on his shoulders (love that Italian hair! so fun to grab!)...

..fell asleep from too much excitement, and hair...

..blinded cousin Anthony...

..fell asleep on daddy (water makes me drowsy)...

..waited for the right moment to nab the 20 bucks Anthony just received in this pic...

..posed so that mom could take a slow motion picture of us...

..took this stellar picture of uncle Guy and Auntie Kym..money shot...

..cruised the kitchen in cousin Brooke's doll stroller...

..dang it daddy, that wasn't funny...
..attempted a new experiment to see if a toddler our size could hold us without it being a complete disaster..Samantha is such a babe...

..took my first killer ride on a boogie board..hang ten baby!..

..and finally, hung out in the pool while the 20 oblivious and crazy kids hit the pinata...

Such a blast! Jacob

The world is so much more interesting two feet off the ground...

As you may have heard after reading our fancy new and improved profile, I have mastered the art of climbing. Andrew may be content just hangin' around and playing, but I'm a mover and a shaker baby, I've got places to go and people to see!! So basically I'm trying to set the world record for earliest baby walker. Every time ma comes to check on us in our barricaded bounce house they call a living room I am either standing (leaning mostly, mind you) on the two sofas, the fireplace, or against one of the couch cushions they placed on the floor (for our stifling internment). After every nap I call mom to the room to show her how I can give her an aneurysm time and again (sigh) by pulling myself up and standing precariously against the crib (er..prison) walls. And my favorite is when mommy comes running to my rescue after I fall down and bang my head, only to repeat my daring feat five minutes later (which includes the banging my head part). Head bruises aside I am having a wonderful time and can't wait to base jump by twelve!

mmm...quesadilla...

where'd he go?! I know I just saw Andrew in there...

ahh..my personal fave: 50 first dates..

Just some other cute pics...

I got a little carried away at breakfast...sorry mom

Once again..only this time we're sleeping mom style: rockin' the stinkbug!
The lady at Babies R Us told us her 16-year-old twin boys still sleep in the same bed! Can't wait! Snuggle Buddies for life!!

Dad thought he would push his luck and see if I could stand on my own. No luck. Oh well at least I now know how to land on my butt!

Anyone have a baby helmet I can borrow? Ah well it will get me ready for Drew hitting me in the head with various toys later in life...Peace from the middle east! Kermit

ROAD TRIP!!!!!!!! times two!!

WELL! Hope we wont be doing that again for a while...mom dragged us half-way up California to hang-out and go to some special events. After much whining and lots of poopy diapers, we made it to our first destination, and back again...only then to be rudely awoken in San Luis Obispo a week later! Anyway we had a great time and visited many relatives..(sorry mom forgot to get pics of you all!!) So enjoy!

Auntie Pam needed a break from driving so Jake took the wheel...
sorry Pammy, I think he's a better driver ;)

Crazy cousin Hallie likes to mimic my faces...that, too I do better. Sorry Hal.
This is us at Auntie Naomi's and cousin Hannah's baby shower (one of the many not pictured, darn it!). Grammie Jan and Aunt Pammy tried desperately to hold on to us as we made our best attempts at getting the yummy strawberries.
Auntie Emily struck a pose with Jake.

And the next weekend: mom and dad took us to a small city fair at the local park in Paso Robles (daddy's home town), and I decided to try out a yoga move (complete version not pictured ;)

Uncle Brett, mommy, and Auntie Emmy amused themselves (as we went to sleep already) playing spoons. Daddy was also playing but took this picture, and Grandpa Pat joined in later when the fun really started...(mom almost peed her pants again ;)

Daddy found us like this the next morning; we didn't pose, we really coordinate sleeping positions just to mess with them...
This was at Auntie Amber's surprise 30th birthday...my life is now complete...

The next day Grandpa Pat took us on his pontoon boat on beautiful Lake Nacimiento, and daddy thought it would be funny to hide me under my hat...upon which I fell asleep.

Aunties Emily and Amber chilled with Jacob..he's such a stud.

Daddy jumped in the water while Uncle Brett waited on the high rock, and Uncle Will stood on the lower rock (look closely!)...mom stayed as far away as possible btw. Thanks for taking these great pics Grandpa Pat! Sorry bad mommy still doesn't have any pics of you!!
Cute candid shot I took of my bro and the girls...

Well, that's it! These are just some cute shots over the last couple days. We're getting so big! and developing all sorts of personality quirks!

(mom likes us naked ;) So do I, Drewski

A week of firsts!! Crawling and Aqua-phoria galore!

Andrew led the way (his jealousy of me rolling over first being the primary motivator) but I followed a couple days later! darnit..and he has two teeth..but I'm still older!

Daddy, mommy, and us boys hit up the local pool for some sun-bathin' and babe-watching. All the girls were checkin' us out with our stylin' hats and billowy physique...

They did take us swimming, by the way..but of course the 'rents forgot to take a picture of it. Oh well we had a blast and are definitely going to be grommies before you know it!! Love, Jakers

Fun With Food...specifically sweet potatoes

Alright, the backstory to this is: mom was opening another jar of sweet potatoes (which we had for the first time last night and LOVED btw), Jake knocked some of the jar on his shirt, I put my hands in the mess, Jake reached over and smeared it all over my face..and mom just sat there (and laughed so hard she almost peed her pants..). For anyone who wanted to know what feeding twins is like...(how does Kate do it?!)...

Mom just thought this pic was cute...
Until next time..or until we eat something else super messy... Andrew-lardo

Happy half birthday to us!!

Our half birthdays are very important to mommy, as hers falls on the day after Christmas, as Nana was always happy to mention..but instead of celebrating, we recovered from our six-month shots, and mom recouped from her brush with death due to Ebola..just kidding it wasn't a big deal, and we'll be sure to make it more special next year...when mommy wont have to be hospitalized...

Andrew stats: 14 pounds, 1 ounce..25-50th percentile for height..the rest mommy forgot ;)
Jacob stats: 13 pounds, 7 ounces..only 3/4" shorter than my heffer brother!

Just some cute pics in celebration of our milestone...

I was pretty peeved at Andrew (and mommy) for not getting a bottle, so I rolled on top of him and tried to take it away..this was after mom caught me...

HAS to be the cutest pic of Andrew and daddy...hmm..I must have been napping...
Mom lost the ability to copy and paste...so more pictures later? Out like a trout. Jake.

Hoppy Hoppy Easter!!

Hope everyone had a very happy Easter! Mommy and daddy woke us up at the butt-crack of dawn and took us to the beach for a sun-rise service held by their old church. This is us after it was over (and before mama had her coffee)...

Easter was also the day the 'rents decided to introduce us to the wonderful world of mashed string beans...wow not as easy goin' down as the rice cereal..mommy slaved away in the kitchen making it, though, so we tried to keep our faces to a minimum...

Mom never got around to buying us Easter outfits, but we were still hotties with these hats on! Side note: I have a feeling these are girl hats..oh well we look cute in them!)

p.s. we HATE wearing hats...these were not easy pics to get ;)

See you soon! Love and chocolate bunnies to all!
