Happy half birthday to us!!

Our half birthdays are very important to mommy, as hers falls on the day after Christmas, as Nana was always happy to mention..but instead of celebrating, we recovered from our six-month shots, and mom recouped from her brush with death due to Ebola..just kidding it wasn't a big deal, and we'll be sure to make it more special next year...when mommy wont have to be hospitalized...

Andrew stats: 14 pounds, 1 ounce..25-50th percentile for height..the rest mommy forgot ;)
Jacob stats: 13 pounds, 7 ounces..only 3/4" shorter than my heffer brother!

Just some cute pics in celebration of our milestone...

I was pretty peeved at Andrew (and mommy) for not getting a bottle, so I rolled on top of him and tried to take it away..this was after mom caught me...

HAS to be the cutest pic of Andrew and daddy...hmm..I must have been napping...
Mom lost the ability to copy and paste...so more pictures later? Out like a trout. Jake.

Hoppy Hoppy Easter!!

Hope everyone had a very happy Easter! Mommy and daddy woke us up at the butt-crack of dawn and took us to the beach for a sun-rise service held by their old church. This is us after it was over (and before mama had her coffee)...

Easter was also the day the 'rents decided to introduce us to the wonderful world of mashed string beans...wow not as easy goin' down as the rice cereal..mommy slaved away in the kitchen making it, though, so we tried to keep our faces to a minimum...

Mom never got around to buying us Easter outfits, but we were still hotties with these hats on! Side note: I have a feeling these are girl hats..oh well we look cute in them!)

p.s. we HATE wearing hats...these were not easy pics to get ;)

See you soon! Love and chocolate bunnies to all!

Adventures in house hunting...

Update: Our house was bought by the next-door neighbor..who probably plans to expand his 3,500 sq ft house on to ours. Wouldn't want to be his neighbor anyway. It's amazing how God has a totally different plan..we can't wait to find out what it is!! (Don't feel badly, frankly, we're relieved..people drove on that road pretty fast)

I will leave some of the pics for the memories..

Originally mommy didn't even want to get out of the car...

This is the view from the front porch...

And this is what you see when you walk through the door...

We don't like granite but it has granite counter tops, so it at least has some upgrades...

The living room looking out the French doors to the backyard...

And the best part...look at this backyard!!! The house sits on a quarter acre!!

WOW!! Someone really likes tile...

Rollin' with my homies...

Well, I couldn't let Drew steal the spotlight forever, as he is babbling like crazy and is always bigger... so I decided to show him up and do a full 360 (turning over that is). We have both been able to flip from our tummies to our backs for a while, but I have been officially doing the whole enchilada alone (until, again, Drew decided to steal the spotlight last night). Anyway, here I am rolling across the living room in slow motion:

Yeah, I'm awesome! Here are some other cute pics of us taken over the last couple weeks...

Being so darn handsome takes a lot out of you...

Drew has this comatose thing down...

AHHH!!! don't sneak up on me mom!! not fair!

Our "gracious, mom..do something about your hair!" moment...

Just thought I would take a moment to enjoy this freedom...and then pee on the carpet..

Until next time! or until we do something cool again..love to all, Kermit ;)

We're 5 months old! Which is almost 6 months, which is almost half a year!

Alright, we've posted inside jokes before, but if you don't understand the humor of this title (straight from the mouth of a famous celeb) you're going to have to ask mom...or dad. Just don't go thinking we're confused about how age is measured, we're already reading Pride and Prejudice for freak sake! So we had our first rice cereal yesterday..and boy was it messy! Mom couldn't keep it in our mouths and then we were shoving our fists in our mouths because it wasn't coming fast enough...Yikes! So here are a couple pics of our new adventure! (and some others ;)

Jumping takes a lot out of you! Maybe mom didn't spike our milk with her morning coffee today..

Must...eat...hand... Hey check out how itty bitty our umbilical hernias have become!

Just our handsome selves...
That's all for now! These past five months have gone by so quickly! Mom gets to sleep through the night (most nights) thankfully, so she likes us a whole lot more! We're almost ready to sit up, and maybe even crawl..looks like mom is about to get a lot more worn out...oh well, we're worth it! Happy birthday to us! love, Kermit and Andrewlardo

What we've been up to; February has been CRA-ZAY

Mommy changed our blog template today. This was me putting Jake in check after he called mommy's changes "too girly" ... I happen to love rainbows and think it's way punk rock.

And this is me giving him a light slap after he said I was lame for liking rainbows..

Mom was neglecting Jake again (has anyone called DCF yet?!) and when she looked back he was holding the bottle up all by himself! She didn't put his hands there or anything! Then of course she neglected me so I pushed that bottle right out of his mouth...

On Valentine's Day we all flew up to Northern California to visit Grammie Jan, P. Diddy (Papa Daryl), Micah, Naomi, Brett, Leanna, Will, Emily, etc. etc.

This was when daddy decided to try out the cool bike Grannie had for us (for the next time we visit obviously...) anyway it was a wicked first experience for Jake!
